The Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society is honoured to be named one of the 25 recipients of the OpenRoad Foundation’s 25 in 25 grant initiative, in celebration of OpenRoad Group’s 25th anniversary. We are proud to be recognized under the Community pillar for the impact our complimentary transportation service makes in the lives of cancer patients.

 

This generous $25,000 grant will help us continue to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate rides for cancer patients who have no other means of getting to and from their vital treatments. Each year, our volunteer drivers collectively travel hundreds of thousands of kilometres, ensuring patients can focus on their health without the added worry of transportation. Support like this makes it possible for us to meet the growing demand for our service.
